About Us

The CHAMP Factor is a community outreach nonprofit organization created to meet a growing need.


Young people and families are carrying more pressure than ever, yet many have never been taught practical inner tools for handling real life challenges.


We exist to change that.


We created The CHAMP Factor Academy to bring The CHAMP Factor System to life and equip students and parents with a strong CHAMP identity, mental strength, emotional resilience, and purpose-driven performance so they can move through life with confidence and learn to:

Known as "RevKev" or simply "Rev," our Founder and Executive Director, Kev Nathaniel, is an expert at helping people understand the human experience. He is celebrated for his ability to train a CHAMP Mindset and guide individuals and teams to maximize their full potential.

Nonprofit Leadership

With over 18 years as a nonprofit director, RevKev has successfully mobilized resources and developed key partnerships to advance charitable initiatives. His leadership has empowered communities, expanded outreach programs, and ensured sustainable impact.

Diverse Experience

A U.S. Air Force veteran serving as a law enforcement K-9 Handler. RevKev is also a former Division 1 college basketball player, receiving recognition as an Academic All-Big Ten selection for excellence on and off the court.

Trusted Trainer

RevKev has worked with a wide range of individuals and teams, from Fortune 500 executives to amateur and professional athletes, helping them understand how mindset, emotions, and self-talk shape performance under pressure.

Passionate Mentor

Known for his growth-driven approach, RevKev is dedicated to helping individuals "Be a CHAMP and do CHAMP things."

Family Man

Devoted husband to Merrian and proud father of two. RevKev’s heart centered values influence his holistic training style.

Chris Rix

CHAMP Factor Staff
Chris Rix was an All-American Quarterback in High School and the first and only four year starter for Hall of Fame Coach Bobby Bowden at Florida State University.

Following his career at Florida State he concluded his career with the San Diego Chargers.

Coach Rix is a TV football analyst for Spectrum Sports TV, home of the Dodgers and Lakers. He founded The Champion Man outreach and Champion Football Training & Leadership Academy in Southern California.

Chris is also currently serving as the chaplain for the La Verne Police & Fire Department.

Chris is most proud of being married to his wife Anita for 20 years.  They are the proud parents of 5 wonderful children.
